The Early Years Program

The Early Years Program offers a wide range of experiences within a structured environment emphasising routine, responsible development of independence and safety. It is based on the Victorian Essential Learning Standards. There is an emphasis on the development of literacy and numeracy skills and students may also be supported by a Reading Recovery program after their first year of school. Social skills are taught directly and through behaviour modification programs where appropriate. Positive behaviours are encourage and rewarded.
